A 7 days after the National Football League draft, life in the league had indeed begun for 9 teams. Hampton Roads had 5 players in total drafted, & 3 were partaking in the premier wave of rookie minicamps. Derrick Nnadi (Ocean Lakes HS) by the Chiefs, Jalyn Holmes (Lake Taylor HS) by the Vikings, & Trent Cannon (Kecoughtan HS) by the Jets.
