ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that although the investigation is still ongoing, Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott is bracing for a short suspension stemming from an alleged domestic violence incident in 2016. "The NFL is looking to pin something on him," one source familiar with the investigation said. The woman told police that, in one instance, Elliott assaulted her while they sat in a parked car.
